About the Split Image into Grid

Divide an image into equal rows and columns, then download every tile separately without uploading the source.

How to use it

  1. Choose an image.
  2. Pick a preset or enter the row and column counts.
  3. Split the image and download the numbered PNG tiles.

How splitting works

The source is divided by equal fractional boundaries. Each piece is rendered to its own canvas so edge pixels remain included.

Example

A 1500 by 1500 image split into a 3 by 3 grid produces nine tiles of 500 by 500 pixels.

Notes

This MVP provides individual tile downloads rather than a ZIP file. Tiles are numbered from left to right, top to bottom.
