About the Flooring Calculator
This estimator converts a rectangular room area into required material area and whole flooring boxes.
Estimation formula
Room area equals length × width. Required area adds the waste percentage, then boxes are required area ÷ box coverage rounded upward.
Example
A 5 m × 4 m room is 20 m². With 10% waste and 2.2 m² per box, the estimate is 10 boxes.
