How to use it
- Enter simple formulas separated by plus signs.
- Separate the two sides with -> or =.
- Balance to view the smallest supported positive coefficient set.

Find a smallest positive whole-number balance for supported simple formulas.
Balancing places whole-number coefficients before formulas so each supported element has the same count on both sides.
The calculator builds element-count equations and solves their coefficient ratios. It does not alter formula subscripts.
H2 + O2 -> H2O becomes 2 H2 + O2 -> 2 H2O.
This MVP supports common neutral formulas and parentheses. Ionic charges, phases, redox notation and ambiguous or underdetermined equations return validation errors. No reaction or synthesis procedure is provided.
