The final grade calculator estimates the score you need on a remaining final exam after accounting for your current grade and the exam weight.
Calculation formula
Required exam grade = (desired grade - current grade × remaining-course weight) / final-exam weight. All weights are converted from percentages to decimals.
Understanding the message
A result above 100% means the target is not achievable under the entered weights. A result at or below zero means the target is already secured.
Example
With an 82% current grade, an 85% target and a final worth 30%, the required final-exam score is 92%.
