About the Image Resizer

Resize an image to exact pixel dimensions before publishing, attaching or placing it in a layout. Processing stays in the browser.

How to use it

  1. Choose a PNG, JPG or WebP image.
  2. Enter the target width or height and choose whether to keep the original ratio.
  3. Select an output format, resize and download.

How resizing works

The browser redraws the source pixels onto a canvas with the requested width and height. Keeping aspect ratio prevents unintended stretching.

Example

A 2400 by 1600 pixel image can be reduced to 1200 by 800 for a lighter web asset while retaining its 3:2 ratio.

Notes

Enlarging a small image creates more pixels but cannot add missing detail. Very large dimensions may exceed browser memory limits.
