Calculate a credit-weighted GPA from multiple courses.
This calculator combines multiple course grades into one credit-weighted GPA on a simplified 4.0 scale. Courses with more credits contribute more to the result.
Each percentage score is divided by 25 and capped at 4.00. GPA equals the sum of grade points multiplied by credits, divided by total credits.
Institutions may use letter grades, plus and minus values, or different conversion tables. Use this estimate only when the simplified percentage-to-4.0 scale matches your needs.
A three-credit course scored at 90 and a two-credit course scored at 80 produce a simplified weighted GPA of 3.44 across five total credits.
