Fuel Burn Calculator

Multiply an entered fuel-unit rate by an entered duration.

About the Fuel Burn Calculator

This page multiplies a user-defined fuel-unit rate by time without assuming a fuel type or aircraft.

How to use it

  1. Enter a positive burn rate per hour.
  2. Enter time in hours.
  3. Calculate the total in the same fuel unit used for the rate.

Formula

Estimated fuel used = burn rate × time.

Example

12.5 entered units per hour for 4 hours gives 50 entered fuel units.

Notes

No reserves, phases of flight, aircraft data, weather or regulatory requirements are included. This is not fuel-planning guidance.
