Formula
Water-to-coffee ratio equals water divided by coffee. Required water multiplies coffee by the ratio; required coffee divides water by the ratio.
Example
20 units of coffee and 320 units of water produce a 1:16 ratio.
Notes
The selected unit labels both values; use consistent measurements when interpreting the ratio.
