About the Brick Calculator
This estimator divides wall face area by a brick-and-gap module area and rounds the quantity upward.
Estimation formula
Wall area is divided by the face module formed by brick length plus gap and brick height plus gap. Results are rounded to whole bricks.
Example
A 5 m × 2.5 m wall with a 21.5 cm × 6.5 cm brick and 1 cm gap produces an approximate count before waste.
Notes
Openings, wall thickness, bond patterns, cuts, breakage, special units and structural requirements are not modeled.
