This calculator compares two calendar dates and reports both an exact year-month-day breakdown and total elapsed days.
The tool first counts complete calendar years and months, then the remaining days. It also calculates the signed total number of days from start to end.
From January 1, 2024 to March 4, 2025, the calendar difference is 1 year, 2 months and 3 days.
Reversing the dates produces a negative total-day result while keeping the calendar breakdown easy to read. Enable the end-date option when both boundary dates should be counted.
