About the Mouse Sensitivity Converter

An eDPI conversion helps retain the same cursor or aiming sensitivity when the mouse DPI setting changes.

How to use it

  1. Enter your current in-game sensitivity and DPI.
  2. Enter the new DPI setting.
  3. Convert to get the equivalent sensitivity value.

Conversion formula

Current eDPI equals current sensitivity multiplied by current DPI. Equivalent sensitivity equals that eDPI divided by the new DPI.

Example

Sensitivity 1.5 at 800 DPI has an eDPI of 1,200. At 1,600 DPI, sensitivity 0.75 preserves the same eDPI.

Notes

The result preserves a simple sensitivity ratio. Different games may use different scales, acceleration, FOV or input processing.
