Convert horizontal and vertical field of view for a display aspect ratio.
Field of view can be expressed horizontally or vertically, so the equivalent angle depends on display aspect ratio.
The converter uses tangent-based perspective geometry to translate the half-angle across the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the selected aspect ratio.
A 90-degree horizontal FOV at 16:9 corresponds to about 58.72 degrees vertically.
Games may label FOV differently or apply Hor+, Vert- and custom scaling. Confirm which axis the selected game setting represents.
