How to use it

  1. Enter aircraft mass in kilograms.
  2. Enter wing area in square meters.
  3. Calculate kg/m² and N/m² values.

Formula

Mass-based wing loading = mass ÷ wing area. Weight-force loading uses mass × 9.80665 ÷ area.

Example

1,200 kg divided by 16.2 m² gives approximately 74.07 kg/m².
