Estimate ideal volumetric flow using a circular area and entered average velocity.
Apply a stated average velocity to the cross-sectional area of a circular pipe.
Area equals pi times radius squared, and flow Q equals area times average velocity.
A 0.1 m diameter at 2 m/s gives about 0.0157 m³/s or 15.7 L/s.
This ideal estimate excludes friction, roughness, fittings, pressure loss, viscosity and flow-profile effects.
