Estimate ideal piston force from stated bore, pressure and efficiency.
This estimator applies pressure to a circular piston area and then applies a stated efficiency factor.
Area equals pi times diameter squared divided by four. Theoretical force equals pressure times area; estimated force applies the efficiency percentage.
A 50 mm bore at 6 bar produces about 1,178 N theoretical force and about 1,060 N at 90% efficiency.
This idealized estimate excludes rod area, friction variation, dynamic loads and safety factors and must not be used for safety-critical actuator sizing.
