Estimate average damage across repeated hits with a critical-hit chance.
Critical-hit probability can be converted into an expected average for comparing damage setups over many hits.
Expected damage per hit is normal damage times the non-critical chance plus critical damage times the critical chance. The total scales that average by the number of hits.
With 100 base damage, 25% critical chance and a 2x multiplier, the expected value is 125 damage per hit and 2.5 critical hits per 10 attacks.
Use the estimate to compare chance and multiplier changes. Actual short sequences can be above or below the expected result.
