Business-day counting helps estimate working time between dates while accounting for weekends and holidays that matter to your schedule.

How to use it

  1. Choose the date range.
  2. Keep weekend exclusion enabled for a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
  3. Optionally list holiday dates in YYYY-MM-DD format and calculate.

How exclusions work

Each date in the selected range is checked once. Weekend dates and matching custom holidays are excluded before the remaining business days are counted.

Example

For Monday through Sunday with inclusive counting, excluding Saturday, Sunday and the Monday as a holiday leaves four business days.

Regional calendars

Public holidays differ by country and organization, so enter only the dates relevant to your own calendar. The tool does not download a holiday list.
