About the Fertilizer Calculator
Convert a rate supplied by the user into a total product quantity for a stated area.
Calculation logic
Area and rate are converted to square meters and kilograms per square meter, then multiplied. Nutrient amount is total product times the entered percentage.
Example
One hectare at an entered rate of 100 kg/ha calculates 100 kg of product; a stated 20% nutrient content equals 20 kg.
Notes
No fertilizer product, crop rate, timing or application method is recommended. The tool only converts and multiplies values entered by the user.
