About the Antenna Gain Calculator
This calculator shows a simplified power budget around an antenna using values already expressed in dB, dBi and dBm.
How it works
EIRP equals transmit dBm minus cable loss plus antenna gain. If path loss is entered, it is subtracted to estimate received power.
Example
20 dBm transmit power, 2 dB cable loss and 5 dBi gain produce an estimated 23 dBm EIRP.
