Perspective Grid Calculator

Turn percentage-based horizon and vanishing point choices into canvas coordinates.

About the Perspective Grid Calculator

Create coordinate references for laying out a simple one-point perspective guide.

How to use it

  1. Enter canvas dimensions.
  2. Set horizon and horizontal vanishing-point percentages.
  3. Choose up to 50 guide positions and calculate.

Calculation logic

Each percentage is multiplied by its canvas dimension. Guide positions divide the canvas width into equal intervals.

Example

On a 1920 by 1080 canvas, 50% places the horizon at Y 540 and the vanishing point at X 960.

Notes

This helper returns coordinates only; it does not generate an image or replace visual composition decisions.
