This calculator estimates uniform pressure by dividing a perpendicular force by its contact area.

How to use it

Formula and logic

Pressure equals force ÷ area. Force is normalized to newtons and area to square meters, producing pascals.

Example

A force of 1,000 N distributed over 0.01 m² corresponds to 100,000 Pa, or 1 bar.

This simple result assumes uniform loading and does not model stress concentration, dynamic effects, material response or containment.
