About the Weighted Grade Calculator
The weighted grade calculator combines assignments, projects, and exams according to how much each component contributes to the course total.
Weighted grade formula
Each contribution equals score × weight / 100. The final weighted grade is the sum of all contributions.
Why total weight matters
A complete grading plan normally totals 100%. The calculator still shows the current contribution when weights differ, but displays a warning so you can correct the inputs.
Example
Homework at 90% with a 30% weight, a midterm at 80% with 30%, and a final at 88% with 40% produce an overall weighted grade of 86.2%.
